Why should I add wastage when calculating tiles?
Wastage accounts for tiles cut to fit edges, corners and around obstacles (pipes, columns), broken tiles during laying, pattern matching for diagonal layouts, and future replacement stock. Standard wastage is 10% for straight-lay patterns and 15% for diagonal patterns. Never order without wastage buffer.
